Prior to joining Ursus, Malin Høili worked with Melody Investment Advisors and KPMG in New York.
Her focus has primarily been on real estate accounting and financial reporting (including US-GAAP, IFRS and local GAAP), as well as investor reporting and compliance with regulatory authorities.
She has reviewed and provided guidance on property & fund transactions, refinancing, valuations, equity allocations, debt & financial structures (e.g., senior loans, mezzanine loans, LBO, revolving credit).
She has been involved in structuring and financial reporting for various fund structures (e.g., master-feeder, parallel funds, alternative investment vehicles, co-invest, trusts, REITs).
She has worked on audits for development and operational properties such as offices, retail/shopping centers, logistics and hotels.
She has reviewed and implemented procedures and processes for risk assessment, internal controls, compliance and regulatory reporting.
She holds a BSc in Accounting from Berkeley College and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
